Welcome to Tan and Joseph!

L-R: Joseph Pham and Mihn-Tan Hoang

Tan and Joseph are Vietnamese Australians whose families came to Australia while they were children. Tans family lives in Wollongong. In the time since completing his secondary schooling Tan has completed a degree in nursing and has worked in that profession. Josephs family lives in Villawood. In recent years Joseph has both worked and pursued studies which he is continuing during the pre-novitiate stage of his Augustinian formation.

The Augustinians welcome Tan and Joseph to life in our community and ask our friends and supporters to pray for them as they pursue their formation as Augustinian religious.

Holy Spirit Parish , St Clair Celebrates Its Feast Day in Style.

Red is the liturgical colour associated with the Holy Spirit. At Holy Spirit Parish, St Clair, at the Masses on Pentecost weekend, practically all the people wear an item of red clothing. This year one of the parish members went a little further. To raise money for the six youth who will travel to Canada for World Youth Day, Fr Raymund Alcayaga osa had his hair dyed red. This event was the highlight of a karaoke night which also was held to raise money for the World Youth Day pilgrims.

New Web Site. Trinity Catholic Primary School is one of the parish schools of Holy Spirit Parish St Clair. Their new web site was recently launched. It is in a class of its own and worth looking at. If you take a peep you will easily recognise the philosophy of learning that pervades this school. Look at: www.ceo.parra.catholic.edu.au/trinity
