Mareeba Parish is hosting a Gospel based youth leadership camp, Action Plus, at the Genazzano Centre, Lake Tinaroo on the Atherton Tableland from 15 to 20 January 2002.

The aim of the camp is to provide young people between the ages of 15 and 21 years with practical gospel based leadership skills that can be used in their parish and local community. This is the first time this type of programme has been offered in the Cairns diocese and it is hoped that it will be well supported.

Two professional and highly skilled youth workers have been engaged to run the programme. They are Greg Smith from NSW who will be the facilitator and Michael Kelly from Brisbane who will be the liturgy co-ordinator. The programme will also include a variety of interesting workshops to be conducted by local people with particular skills.

The fee for the six day camp is $220. This includes full accommodation, all meals, workshops and a fun filled time. REGISTER NOW!
